How to do measurement
Steps to Measure:
1. Bust
- How to measure: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring it stays straight across your back.
- Tip: Stand naturally, and don’t pull the tape too tight.
- Record: Note down the measurement in inches or centimeters.
2. Waist
- How to measure: Find your natural waist (it’s the smallest part of your torso, a few inches above the belly button). Wrap the tape around this area.
- Tip: Stand relaxed without holding your breath.
- Record: Write down the measurement.
3. Hips
- How to measure: Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks, keeping your feet together.
- Tip: Ensure the tape is straight and level.
- Record: Take the measurement.
4. Shoulder Width
- How to measure: Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other, straight across your back.
- Tip: Stand straight and ensure the tape is flat.
- Record: Note this width.
5. Arm Length (Sleeve Length)
- How to measure: Place the tape at the top of your shoulder and measure down to your wrist bone.
- Tip: Keep your arm slightly bent to get an accurate measurement.
- Record: Write down the sleeve length.
6. Neck
- How to measure: Wrap the tape around the base of your neck where your collar would naturally sit.
- Tip: Make sure the tape isn’t too tight; you should be able to fit a finger under it.
- Record: Write down the neck size.
7. Inseam (For Pants/Salwar)
- How to measure: Start from the top of your inner thigh and measure down to your ankle.
- Tip: Stand up straight while doing this.
- Record: Note the inseam length.
8. Height
- How to measure: Stand against a wall and measure from the top of your head down to your feet.
- Tip: Keep your feet together and stand straight.
- Record: Write down your height.
